I would never go there again.. a true dive bar... the food was terrible and cold and some of it was not even eatable and was sent back.. the service was terrible and we had to get our own drinks and the ones we couldn't get we had to ask several times to get... some people were done eating before others with us still had not gotten there food.. even the place is a dive the carpet has not been cleaned in years... in case you think this is just a bad experience I will tell you my niece works at the bar.. I will never go back it was a total dive and one of the owners was there and did not jump in to help.. horribly experience...
They always treat us so well. We don't get to go as often as we'd like anymore because we've moved closer to N.C., but when we arrived today it was so good to see a few familiar faces. They have added more big screens for a total of FIVE big screens for which to view football. Not to mention all the various screens around the actual bar. They have darts, a couple of pool tables, live music on the weekends, raffles for cool prizes during Football Sunday and just a generally very friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy the food. Really, this is the place to be.
My wife and I went to Big Woody's on 11/18, Saturday night for dinner. We were seated at the bar. The service was horrible. We ordered drinks and an appetizer to start. A big drunk filthy neckbeard guy was loud and obnoxious, dropping F- bombs every 30 seconds. I asked him to be classy and respect my wife. His friends started mocking me and threatening me. The manager could have cared less. We felt threatened for our safety and decided to leave. We continued to be harassed and mocked as we walked out. This is not a classy place. I will never go back.
Told the nasty, complaining waitress that I did not like country music and I was told this was my problem. I was sexually molested to country music :( What a horrible person.
Horrible service. If I could give 0 stars I would. First I had beer spilled on me by a rude waitress, almost felt like she did it on purpose. Then I had to deal with crappy attitudes the entire time. All the waitresses are rude including the security guards. Oh and the food is trash just like the employees.
