It's very sad that this place is called a campground, and has the potential of being a great campground if it was not a permitted resident for a lot of people making it look and feel like a trailer park.
No lay out chairs around the pool.
There are too many permitted residents on site. The say on their website "No camper will have the look of being used as a permanent residence." yet you can clearly tell those that have been there much longer than a few days, a couple of weeks or even a month.
Bathrooms were clean. Other than a cheap place to park an rv there's not much else to enjoy. Putt putt was run down. Couldn't get in pool till twelve which negates using it on check out day. In different hands this park could be so much better. They rely heavily in your being impressed by horses as part of the campground experience. Yay a horse.
The young lady that works in the store (I think her name is Misty) she was very rude, unfriendly and seems as if she hates her job. There was only a couple staff members that were actually friendly and worth talking to. The rest were very rude and unfriendly. The wouldn't even say hello, wave or even smile when waved to or said hello to.
You have to have quite time starting at 10 pm to 8 am...who goes camping and is always in bed an quite by 10 pm? With that said who goes camping and is always quite and in bed until 8 am...especially with children.
Full time here. Great people and very quiet. Enjoy my time here.
Pool area is decent.
The bathrooms are very nice.
Decent campground, nice new updated bathrooms & very reasonable priced. But I can not imagine having a job dealing with the public and to acting so NASTY. They did not discriminate they were nasty to everyone. When I called to make reservations, once for the for the cabin and again for the tent site, when we checked in, each time we visited the camp store, when we rented bikes, when we rented golf cart, when we checked out they were rude. The only nice employees were the teenagers working at the campground. It was a bust due to the negative atmosphere from the employees which seemed to rub on some of the regular campers at the campground. Again, not all the regular campers but there were a few which were as rude as the employees.
Staff was very nice.
The prices for the store and rentals are very affordable.
Pros:
It's called a campground but in reality it's a fancy trailer park.
Good value for the price. Nothing fancy and lots of full time residents but again it's the price!
It offers great prices and good location for a quick little night or two getaway where it is very quite.
Cons:
They charge extra for 3 or more people. Most families have more than 2 people.
