The Klumsy Moose is a wonderful place for a Mommy and daughter bonding experience. We had a great time, getting pampered, relaxing, laughing, and even had time to read a few National Geographic for kids articles! I would recommend this place to my friends in a heart beat.
My daughter had her 8th birthday party there recently and it is mediocre at best. The party hostesses were unfriendly and barely interacted with the kids. There is no plan for the girls while the others are getting hair and makeup done and they are left to entertain themselves. Also want to mention that using the same hairbrush on each girl is not okay. After they were finished, they put them right back in the storage box and not to be cleaned. Demanding a certain tip in cash before the party starts is also ridiculous. Trips should be earned, maybe if they weee tipped based on the quality of job done, they would do a better job.
Just took my step-daughter here for her birthday party. The one amazing part of this party was the hostess, Chrissy. She was amazing with the kids, and we had a lot of fun. However, the owner of The Klumsy Moose was incredibly rude, and needs to update the building that houses the business. It is clear that the products used there are cheap, and she obviously does not invest back into her business.
Amazing experience for my 4 and half year old! The entire staff was very warm and friendly. the young lady who did my daughters "Posh tot package" was very sweet and asked my daughter questions like what her favorite color was and who her favorite princess is. When she had to redo a couple of her toes because my daughter accidentally rubbed the nail polish off she didn't bat an eye and was very gracious. I definitely plan to take my daughter back for another fun day at this kid centered Spa! The package took about 30 minutes and during that time the staff braided my daughter's hair, finished it with some glitter, gave her a little crown, painted her fingers and toes and let her pick out some glittery lip gloss and eyeshadow for a mini make up application. During and after, my daughter was as happy as she could possibly be. They have different packages for different age groups.
