I love this place! I had no problem getting an appointment when having an emergency with my dog. They took such good care of him when he was in need of surgery. They sent follow up phone calls to check in to see how he was doing. At the follow up appointment, they were prompt with taking us into the room and examining him. Everyone is so friendly there and helpful! I receive emails with updates on Pet Safety and discounts. I recommend this place to all Pet Lovers! My Dog has reoccurring health problems and I feel at ease that I have found a vet that I trust and feel that their main priority is my dog and not just making money! Love this place!

My dog suffered a pretty extensive wound on his leg, and we were there several times a week for about a month. And now continue to go 1 time a week. They are by far the best vet we have ever been too. We will continue to use their services!

The only con is the waiting room. It has plenty of space but not much privacy blinders/walls for dogs who like to confront other dogs by barking and jumping (like mine) LOL
Dr. Barker and her team are amazing! I recently adopted a new dog and she was having a lot of stomach issues. The former vet the rescue was sending me to was doing nothing to settle the problem. When we decided to go see Dr. Barker for a second opinion she was so sweet to my puppy. Her whole team is inviting and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the front door. From the receptionist all the way to the Vet herself and all the techs thank you for everything you have done for my new four-legged baby. She is doing so much better and its all because of you!! I highly recommend everyone take their animals to Dr. Barker and her team of amazing techs!!
I love Barker Animal Hospital. My 2 dogs go here and my boyfriend brings his dog to Dr. Barker, as well. The whole staff is very helpful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable.

The staff are great & very friendly. Always call you back after your appointment to make sure things are ok. They give lots of treats & loving rubs.
Pet plans are a reasonable price. Location is a bit far since I live by NOB but it is worth it to see my pets well taken care of. Building is brand new & always clean.

I came to Barker Animal Hospital after a not so good experience with Healing with Heart (my issue with them was resolved but my kitty is still in pain & limps) I had a bitter taste from my past experience and Dr.Barker completely changed my outlook. She is very knowledgeable, knows how to handle my cat & dog when they are fussy or scared, she is very sweet & compassionate. Importantly, she asks questions to personally get to know what kind of pet they are.
