everytime i go into this store there is always one register open the lines are almost out the door the customer service in this place is HORRIBLE...
Been there several times to give them the benefit of the doubt, & always had a bad experience!! Staff not friendly at all especially managers!! Always one lane open when it's busy but you see other employees working and standing around doing nothing! If you need help with something can't find anybody to help you!! They just seem like they just don't care about their customers!! I can say a lot more but I think they just don't care anymore because they are going to eventually close all their stores!! I would recommend boycotting this store!!
I went to pay off a layaway n pick it up today. I waited over an hr for someone to help me. There was 2 other people waiting as well for over an hr for the samething. When someone came he acted as if he didn't know what he was doing. Then when he went and got my layway it wasn't even in the back. He had to go and get it off the shelve. I had a weight bench system. It was the last one they had in stock. I got lucky with that. I had already paid for it. It should have been in the back with the other layaway stuff. Then I asked for help getting it into my truck and the guy told me there was no one to help me. I had to load the weight bench system into my truck in pouring rain by myself. This item weights over 100 lbs. I spoke with someone at customer service about this which I'm guessing was a manger since she was in dress clothes and not a normal work uniform. She stated I don't know what to tell you we don't have no one to help. They are always short staff and no one can never help when you need it. Only line ever open it seems is the customer service line. Which is always a long line. They just need to close the store down if they can't keep it staff properly.
First off, this store is not closed however I can surely see it happening in the near future. So here is why this store will get a glorious one star review from me. First off, I called at 10am this morning to confirm this store was actually open unlike google stated and before I finished talking the woman on the other end hung up on me. Secondly even though I was upset I wanted to order a dresser that I had bought before from the Kmart on Fordham before they closed and it showed on the site that it qualified as an item that could be picked up today. At the Fordham store I remembered that they had a policy where if you ordered a product online it would be ready within two hours. So I waited two hours. Then I waited another two hours before calling and talking to Ms. Bernice. She assured me that it would only take another hour before I could pick up the item itself. At this time it was already 5pm and I placed the order at noon. I had waited 2 extra hours for my confirmation email until I attempted to call again. Once again Ms. Bernice was the one who responded to my phone call and tried to see what was going on. She returned to the phone and apologized that the item would not be ready until tomorrow. This is honestly upsetting because its not as if I am asking them to build it. I literally just want to walk in the store and pick up my product. Do not waste your time trying to order pick up from Kmart. The only reason this rating is even getting one star is because of how polite Ms.Bernice was on the phone. I'm not even one to typically write reviews however I am just so upset that I wasted this entire day waiting for this item to be ready. Next time I'll just be sure to go somewhere else and pay a little bit more to make sure my order that is guaranteed for today, is actually guaranteed for today.
Right now is the time for the end of summer sales!!! I always can find great deals. The store was clean. There are no scooters available at this store anymore. But I did see a wheelchair. Checkout is slow, but they do provide curbside assistance!!
i will not be going back there ever again..................
