Everything in one place at reasonable prices. I also use the walmart app to scan my receipt and have earned back close to 40$ in the last year.
The store is clean and well-organized. The employees are, without fail, friendly and efficient. And people like Jenelle, a cashier, and Victoria, a front end supervisor, are always helpful and efficient.
The last four times I have purchased items there I have had a problem. On two separate occasions, I have had defective/damaged items (e.g. frozen fruit bars that had melted at some point prior to my purchase and had refrozen into a misshapen blob). On two other occasions, items were left out of my bag by the cashier. Also, some cashiers try to way over stuff bags ("Matthew", the cashier, being one exception. He was careful in how he bagged items on my last trip there).
I visit this location often because it is near my house so this review is not based on a one time visit. If you're buying more than a few items then you need to be prepared to waste a large chunk of your time. There is hardly ever more than 1-2 regular registers open at any given time. Even on busy Saturdays and Sundays when you would think they would plan for an influx of customers it is still commonly under staffed. Worst Wal-Mart I've been to.
On the upside, this store is a great location that is easy to get in and out of.
I'm a major Walmart consumer & the Hillcrest location while not the best, it is definitely a fair Walmart. It has what you expect to find at any Walmart. I would like to see store employees go the extra mile. The store could use some TLC. Overall organization and presentation could be a lot better. Product availability is lacking for a store that clearly serves a large community. Do better Hillcrest Pkwy Walmart.
