If you are a single mom wanting furniture for your family you have to do what you have to do but I do not recommend going to grand furniture. Years ago I purchased a bed in 2009 from them (norfolk store when it was there) and it wasn't a bad purchase except for the legal threats when I missed a payment. I paid it off no need for legal action so I tried another purchase in 2015 and I got a new couch (sectional) It was so pretty in the store until I got it home and it didn't last but 1 year. It wasn't worth the price so I threw it away. Bad part of it is that I am still paying on it. They add interest upon more interest on it at this point I wish I would have never signed that document to get the couch because they take all your money and it doesn't even go to the furniture until the end. I will never shop here again and if u do be prepared for them to call and threaten you and your job and your bank acct if you have a hardship. I have 2 kids and bills hard to pay for furniture straight up but I will next time. I will never go to them again. Hope this helps you.

Very nice salespeople and good selection of home furnishings.

The gentleman that actually sold us the furniture was friendly enough and easy to get a hold of for questions. The problems began when it came time to financing. Instead of being upfront and telling me what I needed to bring it became a game of back and forth. I showed up ready to sign and brought a deposit with me thinking that's all I needed. I sit down and now they need proof of address since I wanted to pick up my furniture, a voided check, and a pay stub. Fine, I go home and get those things grabbing the first bill I found. Got all set up to pick up the next day. I get home and get a call that the bill was too old and I need to bring in another. Can't get my furniture the next day now so I went back and brought another bill. Well that was no good because it was only a verizon bill. So at the end of all this the only thing I could do was go a week without a couch and when it was finally delivered the delivery guys were unfriendly and rude. All and all not necessarily somewhere I would recommend others to shop.

We are a young military family. We needed a sofa and dining room table. Because we are young and we don't have established credit our finance rate was an incredible 29% which was almost too much for us to swallow but we knew we were going to pay it off quickly so we bit the bullet. Our bill for a table, four chairs, a chaise sofa and the protection plan was nearly three thousand dollars. OUCH. We paid it off in nine months. Now the customer service was so-so, I get annoyed easily so I am probably not the best to review that part. I can however tell you our sofa cushions got flat within two months and we had to replace them (which was an easy enough process taking three phone calls and three weeks for delivery) and all was A-Okay. Things get bad when we moved the furniture into storage (the storage unit is literally 2.6 miles away from our apartment) and our furniture was trashed after that. It does not hold up, and that is sucky since we have to trash it and we were expecting ten year furniture to last us through all the moves the military can throw at us. Beware that the quality is sub-par. If you aren't planning on having to move it then you should be relatively safe, but I would always recommend the protection plan so you are covered if the furniture breaks down.

If u are looking for a job dont apply here it is a very bad company to work for..They say all these great things when you get the job and it is lies..They do not know how to treat there employees unless they like you..They take your sales away when they are going to fired you are when you give them your notice to leave to come. Its suppose to be a family own business but its sucks..
