When traveling to Virginia for business or pleasure from California , my first stop is always at this location to rent a vehicle . Lisa is always professional, knowledgeable, and always willing help. It's a pleasure to know I am a valued customer, and will be returning next year as well.
Arrived after a long week of work at 6:59. Doors were locked and no employees around. Return time for reservation was 7pm. 10 min later employees come out form the back of the office, after closing time. No night drop box. Last time I rent from budget. Set a reserve time and then lock the doors with no alternative but to drive 60 miles to bring it back the next day.
We've rented from this location previously without problems, the cars had always been clean however this time we were given a car that had dead flies in the cup holders, dust or shedded skin over the steering wheel and various other areas, spilled drink not only in the seats but on the console, dog hair in the rear seat and the smell inside was a mixture of French fries and wet dog. Ironically we were told no pets are allowed in their cars. Hmm, dog hair.... The trunk appeared to have grass clippings and dirt in an excessive amount. I attempted to wipe the car out but the smell and the amount of cleaning was far too excessive and the car should have been cleaned after the other person returned it. We took the car back within an hour. While we appreciate not being charged for that hour, the young lady behind the counter told us the owner no longer wanted our business which is fine, after today we are done with this location. We rented from Enterprise 2 minutes away for the same price and got a bigger, clean and fresh vehicle.
The owner, Lisa, is always very helpful, knowledgeable and honest about rates and policies and is very polite. I have used her location for numerous rentals!!
